Getting Here

From the Airport

By Bus, Then Train

Catch the Sky Bus to Southern Cross Station. This takes about 20 minutes. You’ll need to buy a bus ticket at the airport. Once you arrive at Southern Cross, go upstairs to catch a train to Toorak Station. You will need to purchase a Myki card from either a 7-11 store or from the ticket booth upstairs. Normally trains for Toorak depart from Platform 12 but this can change depending on the time of day – always check the screens on the platform to be sure or ask a uniformed staff member. Depending on the time of day, trains to Toorak Station take 16-19 minutes.

Once you arrive at Toorak Station, go up the ramp, turn left and exit the station by turning left into Beatty Ave (you should be by the shops). Walk straight down there for about 200 metres following the train line towards the city. One you reach the intersection at Malvern and Orrong Roads, use the pedestrian crossing at the traffic lights, twice, to reach the diagonally opposite corner of the intersection. Walk down the hill (50 metres) and you are almost there.

By Train

From any of the city train stations, catch a train to Toorak. You will need to purchase a Myki card from either a 7-11 store or from a ticket booth. Typically you will be looking for trains on one of the following lines: Franston, Cranbourne, Pakenham, or Dandenong. Always check the screens to on the platform to be sure that the train goes to Toorak or ask a uniformed staff member. Depending on the time of day, and which station you depart from trains to Toorak Station take 11-19 minutes.

If you are on Swanston St right in the centre of the City you can catch the number 72 and get off the tram at the corner of Malvern and Orrong Roads.You can always ask the driver if you are unsure of where to get off the tram.
