Important Things to Remember

  • Always turn the fan on when using the dryer
  • After using the dryer you need to empty the filter otherwise it will not dry very well next time. The filter is just inside the door on the main body of the machine. Lift it upwards to remove
  • Always use the extractor fan in the kitchen when cooking anything, including toast. If you set off the fire alarms and the fire brigade gets called, it could cost you several thousand dollars.
  • Close all the external windows and doors when using the air conditioning or heating
  • If anything breaks and needs repairing, always contact the host so it can be fixed
  • Empty the vacuum cleaner each time you use it so the suction stays strong
  • If the vacuum cleaner is not working very well, it probably needs to be emptied
  • The bins need to have a plastic bag liner or else they will start smelling and you will have to clean them
  • You need to clean the crumbs out of the bottom of the toaster on a regular basis
  • The couch cushion slips forward sometimes and needs to be pushed back in (when you can see the non-leather material). Stand in front of it and use your knees to push it in while your hands guide it back under.
  • In the master bedroom, remember to lock the desk up to the wall otherwise it could fall and damage something or hit you (its quite heavy)
  • Turn off the air conditioning and heating when going out
